Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Houston, TX. The Traveler will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and operate specialized imaging systems while maintaining sterile technique.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, passing lines and devices, monitoring hemodynamics, and ensuring safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• One year's recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures
• Pass catheters, wires, balloons, and stents under supervision
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment and monitor hemodynamic data
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup and infection control
• Document patient records and imaging data accurately
• Assist with inventory management and supply stocking
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety and hospital policies
