The Cath Lab Technologist role at Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab supports diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the Hartford facility. Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters and devices and operating imaging equipment.
• Operate imaging equipment and monitoring systems with proper sterile technique.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup per protocols.
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed.
• Maintain documentation for patient records and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory and ensure proper storage of supplies.
• Adhere to radiation safety and hospital policies.
