Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a Travel Catheterization Laboratory Technologist II for a 13-week assignment in San Marcos, TX. The role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and requires strong lab prep, sterile technique, and patient safety focus.

The position is 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, with on-site duties and precepting responsibilities for junior staff. Travel experience and appropriate cath lab credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology preferred.
• 2 years of Diagnostic, Interventional Radiology, or Cath/EP Lab experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS if pediatric facility is used; RCIS/RCES/RCS or ARRT variants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the lab, equipment, and supplies to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and document patient information accurately.
• Train and precept junior technicians and technologists; ensure patient safety and department efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure proper equipment setup, room configuration, and procedural readiness.
• Assist in radiation safety and documentation during fluoroscopy and imaging procedures.
