Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 26-week travel assignment in Springfield, IL. The selected candidate will support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, monitor hemodynamic data, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety during procedures.

The role requires one year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related interventional procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents
• Operate and monitor imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic systems
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup
• Maintain accurate documentation and logs
• Assist with inventory management and ensure proper storage of supplies
• Adhere to radiation safety and hospital protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice
