Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Englewood, New Jersey. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, assisting physicians during interventional cardiovascular procedures, and ensuring patient safety with continuous monitoring and sterile technique.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of recent Cath Lab experience and current BLS/ACLS, plus ARR T/RCIS/RCES certifications.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification; ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification; ARR T/RCIS/RCES certifications.
• ARRT/RCES/RCIS certification is preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems for safety and accuracy.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile fields; adhere to infection control and procedural protocols.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs accurately; manage supplies and inventory.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and hospital policies at all times.
