Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist – Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Portland, OR. Start date 11/16/2026; 36 hours/week on a 3x12 schedule (7:00 AM–7:00 PM).

Invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular tests will support physicians in diagnosing and treating heart, lung, and vascular disorders. Requires ARRT Radiography, Oregon OBMI Radiologic Technologist License, and at least 2 years Cath Lab experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography certification is required.
• Oregon OBMI Radiologic Technologist License is required.
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience is required; 2+ years preferred.
• BLS certification required; CPR acceptable; ACLS or ARC-ALS required.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent; 1 year catheterization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for cardiovascular, pulmonary, and vascular disorders; conduct invasive and non-invasive tests as needed.
• Operate and troubleshoot cardiac cath lab equipment (C-arm, angiographic injectors, and patient monitoring systems); ensure proper procedural setup.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control and radiation safety standards; protect patients during procedures using shielding and positioning.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs during procedures; respond to changes and coordinate with team to adjust parameters.
• Assist with catheterization, imaging, filming, and documentation; complete forms and records for each case.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine checks on cardiovascular equipment; report malfunctions and assist in troubleshooting.
