Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Gainesville, Florida. The technologist will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and ensure patient safety in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications include one year in a Cardiac Cath Lab, BLS, ARRT/RCIS/RCES, and ACLS certifications. Preferred licensure and additional certifications may be required; competitive pay and comprehensive

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by handling catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup per protocols.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Support inventory management and supply stocking.
• Follow radiation safety policies and wear dosimeters.
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
