Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Monroe, North Carolina. The role involves 40 hours per week, dayshift, with potential on-call based on departmental needs.

You will work in a 174-bed facility with Cath Lab, IR Lab, and a Stroke Center designation, focusing on cardiac and vascular procedures. Required: at least 1 year in a Cath Lab, BLS/ACLS, ARRT or RCIS, EPIC/Encompass and MERGE experience; ARRT-R for IR tech; active license as applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Tech experience.
• BLS and ACLS required; ARRT or RCIS certification.
• IR Tech: BLS and ARRT-R required; active license if applicable.
• Experience with EPIC/Encompass and MERGE systems.
• Must be comfortable scrubbing and recording for cardiac/vascular procedures.
• First travel assignment required; 13 weeks preferred.
• Candidates reside >50 miles from facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Cath Lab procedures and imaging.
• Scrub and record for cardiac/vascular cases; no circulating duties for Cath Lab Techs.
• Support IR Lab tasks and potential float to Cath Lab as needed.
• Operate and monitor equipment (Siemens X-ray, Merge Hemo, Philips monitors, etc.).
• Work with EPIC/Encompass and MERGE EMR systems.
