Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Easton, Maryland. This role requires active Cath Lab licensure, relevant certifications, and flexibility to travel.

The technologist will work 40 hours per week, dayshift, in a hospital setting, supporting cardiac catheterization procedures and patient care under supervision. Benefits include housing options, weekly pay, credentialing support, and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Current License in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Sustains a high level of patient care by communicating with patients, families, and physicians and coworkers to address needs.
• Functions under the supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assists cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment and preparing supplies as ordered.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintains a patient-focused environment and collaborates with team to ensure timely care.
• Prepares and updates patient records accurately and legibly.
