Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Norfolk, VA. You will join a dedicated clinical team and support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab.

This role emphasizes patient safety, equipment prep, and teamwork. The position offers travel-friendly hours, 40 hours per week, and a comprehensive benefits package designed for traveling professionals.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Pass catheters, wires, balloons, and stents during procedures and operate fluoroscopy.
• Operate imaging equipment and monitor hemodynamic data.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup; ensure infection control and protocol adherence.
• Maintain documentation and equipment logs; assist with inventory management.
