Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Mesa, AZ. This role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring patient safety under pressure in a fast-paced lab setting.

The ideal candidate will have one year of Cath Lab experience, state licensure, and current BLS/ACLS certifications, with ARRT/RCIS/RCES credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, and devices; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field; follow infection control protocols.
