Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Akron, Ohio. You’ll support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, monitoring data, and assisting physicians during catheterization lab cases.

The role requires ARRT/RCIS/RCES or equivalent, BLS, ACLS, and recent cath lab experience. You’ll join a dedicated clinical team offering competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and travel support for

Qualifications

One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operate fluoroscopy; monitor hemodynamics.
Operate and maintain imaging and hemodynamic equipment; ensure proper functionality.
Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup per infection-control protocols.
Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation and equipment logs.
Assist with inventory management and supply storage; ensure radiation safety protocols are followed.
