Summary:

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a Cath lab tech Radiology to take an assignment in Springfield, Illinois.

This assignment lasts 26.14 WEEKS and is scheduled to start on November 9, 2026.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the relevant field.

Certifications Required:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)

Clinical Skills and Experience Required:

• Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience.
• Procedural skills including Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Left and Right heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Rotablator atherectomy, Scrub Procedures.
• Procedural responsibility skills including Equipment setup and Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Infection control skills including Isolation Precautions and Sterile Technique.
• Age-specific competencies for Middle and Older Adult patients.

Charting System Experience:

• Cerner required.

Other Requirements:

• ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS certifications required (will accept CCI RCIS or ARRT R, prefers ARRT R).
• Must have an active Illinois license to apply; pending license not accepted.
• Cerner experience required.
• Candidates must work 2 of the 3 major holidays during assignment.
• Modules (up to 16 hours, non-billable) must be completed pre-start and renewed annually.
• On-call responsibilities as needed, with details to be discussed with the manager.
