Job summary

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Greensboro, North Carolina. This position requires performing cath lab procedures and maintaining compliance with EPIC systems.

The assignment lasts 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, 10-hour days, and a start date of 11/30/2026. GC travel experience, licensed technologist, and strong safety protocols are required.

Qualifications

• Travel experience required; first-time travelers accepted.
• Active license in hand at submission.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and EKG required.
• Experience with cardiac and vascular procedures: Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, LHC/RHC.
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed).
• Additional skills include Sterile Technique and equipment setup.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience required.
• EPIC experience required.
• Community Hospital Experience required.
• Travel Experience required.
• First-time travelers are acceptable.

Preferred Experience

• Previous Charge Experience preferred.
• Charting System Experience preferred.

Certifications and Licensure

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
• COVID-19 Vaccine required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only).
• Flu Vaccine required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only).
• Active license must be in hand at submission.
• Strongly Preferred but Not Required: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)/RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist).
• Additional certifications: ARRT CI, ARRT R, ARRT VI, CCI RCES, CCI RCIS.

Skills and Procedures

• Scrub and EKG required.
• Experience with cardiac and vascular procedures: Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left and Right heart catheterization, and rotablader.
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed).
• Additional skills include Sterile Technique, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Accessing/Managing Ports, Accurate monitoring, and Equipment set up.

Specialty Areas

• Experience with invasive cath procedures, cardiac interventions, and adjunct therapies related to cardiac intervention.
• Experience with devices/ablation in EP lab, EP studies, PV lab-fistula, A/O LE runoff, pedal access, thrombectomy/hemodynamic monitoring/conscious sedation.

Degree Verification

• Third-party education verification required.
• Degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted.

Location and Patient Care

• Travel to any Cone Health campus as needed.
• Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics.

Additional Information

• Modules during orientation are non-billable, average 2-4 hours.
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius; current driver's license required to verify address.
• No post-submission RTO accepted; RTO must be submitted with the application.
