Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Allentown, PA. The role involves scrubbing, monitoring, and assisting in complex cardiac procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

Requirements include ARRT (R), BLS, ACLS, ARRT (CI) preferred, and at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience with state licensing as required. Travel assignment offers 40 hours per week and 13 weeks duration.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) certification preferred or required.
• State licensure as required in some jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cardiac lab rooms and ensure stock availability.
• Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment in the cath lab.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist physicians with catheter maneuvers.
• Obtain and record hemodynamic and angiographic data.
• Monitor the patient’s hemodynamic status during procedures.
• Assist in life-saving measures when necessary.
