Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Towson, MD. The RN will support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the catheterization lab, monitor vitals, assist with medications, and help the medical team during procedures.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of employment.
• ACLS may be required by contract.
• Minimum 2 years Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• TB screening or chest x-ray if required.
• Health certificate as per contract.
• Must meet federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vitals during procedures.
• Assist with procedural medications including sedatives.
• Support doctors, technicians, and nurses in cath lab.
• Provide patient care before, during and after cardiac catheterization.
