Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Carmichael, California. You will work a 4x10 schedule, 10 hour days, with travel assignment terms and a focus on high-acuity cardiac procedures.

Requirements include 2+ years Cath Lab RN experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS. Cerner charting is used; scrubs provided and no patient floating.

Travel Cath Lab RN – Level II Trauma Facility

Job Highlights

• Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (4x10s listed)
• Call required, including weekends and holidays
• 2 Cath Lab suites | ~8 cases/day
• Cerner charting
• No floating
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Scrub experience not required

Requirements

• 2+ years Cath Lab RN experience
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS
• Active RN license required at submission
• BSN not required

Procedures / Clinical Skills

• Invasive cardiac procedures (excluding structural heart)
• Peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Carotid interventions
• AV graft procedures
• EVAR
• Ventilator management exposure
• No PEG, G-tube, nephrostomy tube or similar procedures

Call / Weekends

• Minimum every other weekend call: Friday 3:30 PM–Monday 7:00 AM
• Approximately 12 call days/month, potentially up to 18 depending on staffing
• 30-minute call response time
• Holiday call required on rotating schedule

Unit Support

• Charge RN and Cath Lab/IR techs available
• IV team available
• 24/7 Respiratory Therapy and Pharmacy

Submission Requirements

• No direct CommonSpirit, CHI or Dignity employment within the past year (outside-agency PRN may qualify)
• Relias DYS exam required before contract signing
  • Must complete within 24–48 hours
  • Maximum 2 attempts
