Job summary

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Olympia Fields, Illinois.

This 13-week assignment requires 40 hours per week with a dayshift of 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and call rotation. The role focuses on adult & geriatric cardiology patients, requiring 1+ year Cath Lab or critical care experience, active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year Cardiovascular/Cath Lab experience with cardiac procedures OR 1+ year Critical Care experience.
• Active RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications.
• BSN preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor physiologic & hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Assess and monitor patients before, during & after procedures.
• Communicate patient status with physicians and care team.
• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure cal/sterile equipment readiness.
• Manage case-specific supplies and inventory.
• Provide procedural patient care, documentation & safety monitoring.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 1–3 call shifts/week
• On-call every 2nd–3rd weekend
