Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Cath Lab RN in Amarillo, TX. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours weekly and a 12-hour day shift. Benefits include travel and licensure reimbursements and a tax-free per diem package.

Requirements include TX or compact RN license, 2+ years Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS certs, and recent Epic EMR use. Residency >50 miles away is required; no local candidates. Call coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 6 months required.
• Former permanent staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Cath Lab within a hospital setting.
• Day shift: three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00.
• Call required on weeknights 7 p.m. – 7 a.m. and weekends 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
• Epic EMR experience is required and must be recent.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates.
• Willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays if needed.
• No travel pairs or groups; orientation onsite and recorded.
• Modules for orientation are completed onsite and recorded.
