Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Cath Lab RN for a 13-week assignment in Des Moines, Iowa. This role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.

The RN will prepare patients for cardiac catheterization, assist during procedures, monitor recovery, and collaborate with cardiologists and cath lab staff. Requires 1 year Cath Lab experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS; PALS/ENPC and RCIS are a plus.

Qualifications

• One year experience in a Cath Lab RN role.
• Valid RN license in the applicable state.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification.
• PALS or ENPC certifications and RCIS are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients prior to procedures including history review.
• Position patients and ensure proper ECG leads placement.
• Assist physicians during procedures and manage catheters/wires.
• Operate hemodynamic equipment and monitor rhythms.
• Monitor recovery and coordinate post-procedure care.
• Maintain cath lab equipment and stock for procedures.
• Communicate clearly with team, patients, and families.
• Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
