Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for the Cath Lab/EP in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The assignment runs 13 weeks with four 10-hour shifts weekly and on-call coverage. A WI or compact RN license and at least 2 years of cath lab experience are required.

BLS/ACLS are mandatory, and benefits including insurance and per diem are provided. Travel and licensure reimbursements help support the assignment.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a WI or compact RN license and 2 years of cath lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Position located in a cardiac cath lab setting
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts (06:00-16:30) each week
• Call coverage required: one call night during weekdays (17:00-06:00) and one call weekend every fourth weekend (Friday 17:00 to Monday 06:00)
• Holidays may require call coverage as needed
• Epic EMR is used in this unit
• May float within skill set onsite or to other sites within 40 miles if needed
• Responsibilities include providing nursing care and support in a cardiac cath lab environment
• Team members may be required to float within skill set or to sites within a 40-mile radius
• Holiday coverage may be required as part of the on-call responsibilities
• All applications require two separate references and a copy of Driver’s License
• Local candidates are accepted, but a radius rule applies and may reduce the pay rate
• COVID vaccination is no longer required for this position
