Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab contract role in Illinois. Requires 3+ years of Cath Lab and EP experience, ARRT, BLS, ACLS, IEMA certs, active state license if applicable, and Epic EMR proficiency. Travel experience preferred. EKG testing is required before consideration.

The position offers a day-shift schedule (4x10s) with call coverage, housing allowances, and travel/licensure reimbursements. Interview and onboarding are conducted on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab and EP experience.
• ARRT, BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• IEMA Certification required.
• Active state license if applicable.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Prior travel assignment experience required (1+).
• DOB required for consideration.
• Pass Relias EKG test with 80%+ and on-site EKG test on Day 1.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting responsibilities.
• Day shift with 4x10 hour shifts per week.
• Floats for call coverage to Evanston or Highland Park.
• Call 2–3 days per week with 30-minute response and 2-hour guarantee.
• Weekend and holiday coverage as needed.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• 16 hours of non-billable orientation required.
• First-time travelers will not be considered.
• Returning staff must be away from facility 12 months.
• RTO limited to 3 days for 8-week contracts and 7 days for 13-week contracts.
• Must work at least 1–2 holidays during the contract.
• Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at the same rate.
• Facility interview lasts 10–15 minutes.
