Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Level 1 trauma cardiac cath lab. RCIS certification and solid STEMI/cardiovascular experience are required.

The role involves 4x10 hour day shifts with on-call 1–2 weeknights and 2 weekends per 6‑week cycle; responsibilities include scrub, monitor and circulating support in a high‑volume lab using EPIC EMR. Travel housing and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience.
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) required.
• RCIS certification via CCI required.
• ARRT (R) certification required; CO Fluoroscopy license within ~1 week if not held.
• Solid STEMI and cardiovascular lab technician skills.
• Experience assisting in scrub, monitor, and circulating roles.
• Driver's license copy required for consideration.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Acute care Level 1 trauma cardiac cath lab with 2 cath labs, 2 EP labs, and 1 hybrid suite.
• Average caseload of 10-20 cases per day.
• Common diagnoses include STEMI, cardiogenic shock, CAD, PAD, and atrial fibrillation/flutter.
• Uses EPIC EMR.
• 4x10 hour day shifts.
• On-call requirements of 1-2 weeknights per week and 2 weekends per 6-week pay cycle.
• Holiday call required with a 30-minute call response time.
• Potential to float within the department, and in extreme need, within the designated float zone.
• Assist in scrub, monitor, and circulating roles within the cath lab department.
• Unit-specific orientation provided, with a total of 12 orientation hours.
• Clinicians must be in-state for orientation week, even if first-day modules are remote.
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility.
• Dress code and scrub color requirements apply.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
