Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of recent Cath Lab experience and current RCIS, RCVT, or RCES certification to join a facility offering a full-service Electrophysiology program. This Virginia-based role requires a valid license and BLS/ACLS certification, with duties including 40-hour weeks, on-call rotation, and support across Cath Lab/EP/Cath Holding.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Cath Lab experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program leading toward Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist registry.
• ARRT candidates will not be considered.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• One of RCIS, RCVT, or RCES credentials currently held.
• VA or compact license required in hand at submission, if applicable.
• EKG/telemetry proficiency testing score of 80%+ with no remediation.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Cath Lab procedures with a full-service Electrophysiology program.
• May support other Cardiovascular departments including Cath Lab, EP, and Cath Holding.
• 40 hours per week with 5x8 and 4x10 shifts; varying start times 7a-7p.
• Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call; average ~12 call days per month.
• Overtime should be expected; support EP procedures as part of a rotating team.
