BLS required.

RCIS/RCES holders must register as Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado before starting.

Holding and monitoring experience preferred.
License required if applicable.
No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

Perform LHC, RHC, PCI, and peripheral diagnostic and interventional studies.
Assist with pacers, ICDs, cardioversions, TEEs, tilt table tests, and dobutamine stress tests.

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Technologist with recent acute care cath lab experience and ARRT(R) or RCIS/RCES certification for a fast-turnaround assignment.

Details

Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 3 holding bays and 2 cath/procedure suites
Team of 9 staff members with a 3:1 staff-to-patient ratio in the procedural area
Uses GE Innova Fluoro Systems and Mac Lab equipment
Day shift schedule, 4x9 hour shifts, approximately 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM
Pre/post procedure hours vary around 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
On-call responsibilities shared evenly across a 4-week schedule, typically 8-12 call days
Two nights of on-call and approximately every third weekend required
Must be housed within 30 minutes of the facility while on call

Requirements

Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience
BLS required
ARRT (R) or RCIS/RCES required
Candidates holding RCIS/RCES must be willing to apply for and register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA prior to starting
ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred

License required if applicable
