Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures for pediatric and adult congenital patients in Akron, Ohio.

The assignment runs 13 weeks with a 40-hour workweek on day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. ARRT Radiography registry and OH licensure are required, with BLS and ACLS/PALS either current or within one year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT Radiography registry required.
• OH state license required at time of consideration.
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS or to be obtained within one year.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; 5 years preferred.
• BSN required for Magnet facility status.
• Experience with pediatric/adult congenital cardiac care preferred.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, EP studies, and RF ablations.
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor invasive cardiac procedures including waveform and pressure gradient monitoring.
• Collaborate with cath lab team and physicians during complex procedures.
• Order and maintain par levels and general equipment troubleshooting.
• Float to competent units as needed.
