Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Cath Lab experience required, including Impella, telemetry, and IABP.
• Must be able to independently read telemetry strips and pass a telemetry exam on day 1 with 85% or better.
• IR experience preferred.
• RT(R) license required if applicable.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• RCIS certification preferred.
• Minimum 18 months of experience in the specialty required.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting under the direction of a Cardiologist.
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, no set day off.
• Evening and weekend on-call required for emergency Cath Lab procedures.
• Performs hemodynamic monitoring, imaging, and ambulatory monitoring operations in the Cardiology department.
• Assists with radiologic operations of the Cath Lab and performs quality control using optimum diagnostic imaging.
