Qualifications

• ARRT(R) or RCIS certification required.

• Radial and femoral vascular access expertise required.
• Preference for RCIS certification (CCI).
• Familiarity with Siemens equipment preferred.
• Proficiency in structural heart procedures including TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, Watchman.

Responsibilities

• Support high-acuity cardiovascular procedures including EP, PCI, and interventional cases.
• Scrub EP procedures: ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions.
• Assist with structural heart procedures and imaging modalities (ICE, IVUS, OCT).
• Cover neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures as needed.
• Participate in required shift rotation and on-call duties.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 3+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab/EP experience and ARRT(R) or RCIS certification.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting supporting high-acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures
• Cross-trained cardiovascular technologist role covering EP, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart labs
• Scrubs EP procedures including ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems (Micra, Aveir preferred)
• Scrubs cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostic and interventional cases (PCI, atherectomy) and supports mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP, temporary pacing)
• Supports neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions
• 3x12 hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with variable start times between 6:00 AM-8:00 PM
• Participation in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation as required by department needs

Requirements

• State of CT Radiographer license required if applicable, in conjunction with ARRT (R) and/or RCIS certification through CCI
• Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab experience
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Expertise in radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices
• Preferred: Familiarity with Siemens equipment for licensed radiologic technologists
• Preferred: RCIS certification through CCI
• Preferred: Proficiency in structural heart procedures including TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and Watchman
• Preferred: Skilled in advanced cardiovascular imaging technologies including ICE, IVUS, OCT, and 3D mapping systems
• Two professional references from previous managers required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assist with high-acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures, including emergent and advanced interventional cases
• Uses Kronos for timekeeping
• Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate
