Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist for a travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. Start date 10/26/2026 for 13 weeks, with 12-hour day shifts and a 36-hour guaranteed week. You will work in a hospital-based cath lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Qualifications include 2+ years in the cath lab, BLS, and RCIS/AART certification, plus an associate degree in health sciences or CVT/radiology. Travel required, no local applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab or interventional/diagnostic specialty.
• BLS required; RCIS or AART certification required.
• Education: Associate degree in health science or completion of an accredited technology program (CVT/Radiology).
• Must work 12-hour day shifts and be able to travel for assignments.
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment location.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist diagnostic and interventional Cardiac Cath Lab procedures (Left/Right Heart Cath, PCI, Pacemaker/Device procedures).
• Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment; ensure sterile technique; monitor hemodynamics; operate imaging systems.
• Provide peri‑procedural patient care, monitor data and post‑procedural recovery per protocol.
• Document procedures and communicate findings to the interventional team.
• Collaborate with the cardiovascular team on safety, infection control, and quality initiatives.
• Assist with device management and post‑procedural care, including decontamination and restocking.
