Healthforce is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist (Cath Lab Technologist) for a 13-week travel assignment in Saint Helena, California. The role runs 36 hours per week with a 5x8 shift pattern and starts 08/31/2026.

Responsibilities include invasive/non-invasive cardiovascular testing, x-ray and imaging, and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced cath lab. Required are ARRT-R, CA RT license, fluoroscopy license within 6 months, CPR/BLS, and EPIC experience, plus two years in the field.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience; preferred—one year of catheterization experience
• Licenses/Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography) certification; Radiologic Tech license in CA; fluoroscopy license within 6 months; CPR/BLS certification
• Experience: At least two years in the field; EPIC experience required
• Additional licenses/credentials: Nursing license as required by assignment
• Other: Able to work in a fast-paced cath lab with varied shift demands

Responsibilities

• Aids physicians in diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders with invasive and non-invasive tests
• Operates x-ray and physiological equipment; assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; maintains equipment
• Monitors patient vitals and ensures safety and comfort during interventions
• Maintains sterile technique and radiation safety during procedures
• Manages cath equipment; reports malfunctions and performs preventive maintenance; basic troubleshooting
• Assists during procedures and in administration of opaque media; EPIC documentation and workflow
