Job summary

Healthforce seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist for a travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves performing and supporting cardiac and vascular radiographic procedures in a high-volume cath lab within an acute-care facility.

Requirements include an Associate degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology and active California licensure; CVT or cath lab certification preferred. Travel availability with a 4x10-hour schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
• Active California license as Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist, as applicable.
• CVT certification or cath lab certification preferred.
• Typically 2+ years in a cath lab/interventional radiology setting.
• Strong teamwork, patient assessment and ability to handle high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations and interventional procedures in the cath lab.
• Operate imaging systems to produce digital images and position patients.
• Deliver patient-centered care while maintaining radiation safety and quality standards.
• Mentor staff on technical skills and participate in training and hiring input.
• Support invasive, interventional, and therapeutic procedures including device implants and ablations.
