Description

Soliant Health is seeking a skilled CVOR Tech for an exciting travel assignment in Green Bay, WI. This position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art cardiac surgery unit while experiencing the charm and energy of this iconic Midwest city, home of the Packers and rich local culture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment for cardiovascular procedures.
2. Assist surgeons during procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, and other complex cardiovascular surgeries.
3. Handle and ensure the proper function of specialized surgical instruments and equipment.
4. Perform surgical counts and ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
5. Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal patient care.
6. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of surgical procedures.

Requirements

1. Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
2. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a CVOR or cardiac surgery setting.
3. Active Wisconsin state license (or eligibility to obtain one).
4. BLS certification (required).
5. Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and surgical procedures.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
