Job summary
American Traveler is seeking a Travel Cardiothoracic Telemetry RN for a fixed assignment in Peoria, Illinois. The role requires an active IL RN license, telemetry expertise, and medication titration skills, with night"shifts and weekend rotation.
The position offers telemetry‑focused duties, EPIC charting, drip titration, and support for post‑op cardio-thoracic care on a 70-bed unit at a hospital, with local pay options within 50 miles.
Qualifications
- Active IL RN license required at time of application.
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience.
- BLS (AHA) certification required; ACLS recommended.
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation and medication titration.
- Experience with telemetry and post-surgical cardio-thoracic patients.
- Ability to read tele strips on Phillips monitors.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Cardiothoracic Unit of an acute care hospital.
- Titrat e drips such as Cardizem and heparin.
- Interpret telemetry strips and operate Phillips monitors.
- Use EPIC for charting.
- Night shifts 12 hours with rotating weekends and holidays.
- May float to other general medical units as needed.
