Job summary

Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to join an in-home imaging study. You will travel regionally to patient homes, performing echocardiograms and vascular studies with portable ultrasound equipment, ensuring safety and protocol compliance.

We offer a full-time, contract-like arrangement for 3–4 months with travel reimbursements. Applicants must be RDCS/RCS with RVT/RVS credentials, have BLS, and hold a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac imaging (RDCS) and vascular imaging (RVT/RVS).
• Full-time availability or near full-time.
• BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet; tech-savvy.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes to conduct visits (average ~25 per month).
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain ASE standards in image quality and reporting.
