Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to conduct in-home imaging visits across the United States, including North Dakota.

You'll travel to patient homes, set up portable ultrasound, perform echocardiograms and vascular studies, and prepare preliminary reports while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role is a full-time W2 contract for 3-4 months with a monthly stipend of 8,000 to 10,000 and travel reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac imaging and vascular imaging is required (RDCS or RCS plus RVT or RVS).
• Full-time or near full-time availability for a 3-4 month contract.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel locally/regionally.
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet; tech-savvy with digital tools.
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.
• Adaptability in field-based environments and strong time management.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.

About the Role

We are expanding our Home Network and seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to join an exciting new decentralized clinical study. In this role, you will travel regionally (may be local or across state lines) to patient homes to conduct in-home cardiac and vascular imaging visits, averaging approximately 25 visits per month. Travel expenses incurred per visit may include mileage, airfare, and hotel accommodations, reimbursed on a per-visit basis. The monthly stipend reflects both scan compensation and guaranteed availability for a period of 3-4 months with the potential to extend.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING | THE ROLE

WHAT YOU BRING | REQUIREMENTS

• Active registration in both cardiac and vascular imaging required (e.g. RDCS or RCS plus RVT or RVS through ARDMS or CCI)
• Full time, or close to full time, availability
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally/regionally
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet required; tech savvy and self sufficient with digital tools
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Adaptability in dynamic, field-based environments
• Time management and organizational skills

$8,000 - $10,000 a month

• Monthly stipend of $8,000 to $10,000, based on experience
• Travel expenses, including flight, rental car, and accommodations are included.
