Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois. The Telemetry RN will monitor heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, oxygen levels and ECG data to guide patient care, with a 13-week assignment on 12-hour nights.

Requirements include ACLS and BLS, 1-2 years of acute care experience, and travel RN status. TotalMed offers weekly pay, guaranteed hours, continuing education, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Telemetry/Tele RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and monitor telemetry equipment
• Interpret and record data from monitors and ECGs to guide patient care
• Identify abnormal telemetry readings and alert medical team
• Assist with patient transfers and lifting as needed, up to 50 pounds if required
• Participate in shift responsibilities for night rotation and 12-hour shifts
