ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina. The RN will provide high-quality care on the cardiac floor with emphasis on telemetry and post-operative care in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires 2+ years on a cardiac floor, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and travel experience is preferred unless 24+ months of cardiac experience. Night 3x12h shifts, 18:45–07:15, in a 26-week assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience on a cardiac floor.
• Travel experience preferred unless the candidate has more than 24 months of cardiac experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Preferred skills include arterial line management, wound care, and charge nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor cardiac drips and ensure proper titration as needed.
• Provide care for patients recovering from various cardiac surgeries and procedures.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias with accurate assessments.
• Assist with sheath removal and chest tube management.
• Administer non-invasive airway management, including CPAP/BIPAP and nasal cannula.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Complete necessary documentation and utilize EPIC for charting.

Job Description
