Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Peoria, Illinois is seeking a travel nurse RN with Cardiac Stepdown specialty to join a telemetry unit. The assignment runs 13 weeks with a 36-hour week and night shifts, starting 10/12/2026 as a travel employment.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS/ACLS certifications, and at least 18 months of acute care telemetry experience, with client-specific requirements to be determined by the facility.

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Telemetry setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide care for telemetry patients by connecting them to monitoring machines and interpreting data to guide care decisions.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, SpO2 and ECG data to identify evolving clinical needs.
• Develop nursing care plans and maintain accurate medical records for telemetry patients
