Qualifications

• Successful completion of accredited training in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of accredited training in cardiac ultrasound.
• Ability to interpret findings to support accurate preliminary interpretations.
• Graduate of a cardiac echocardiography technology program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations under the supervision of physicians.
• Perform 2D echoes, M-mode and Doppler studies.
• Provide preliminary interpretation of echo studies.
• Maintain accurate records of echo studies.
• Assist physicians with training of residents and staff.
• Be proficient with multiple echocardiography platforms and policies.
