Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) in Los Angeles, CA for a 13-week assignment. You will perform echocardiography to assess cardiac structure and function, collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to support accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• One year of recent experience as an Echo Cardiovascular Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate expertise in cardiac echocardiography, including Doppler and 3-D imaging techniques.
• Maintain proficiency with echocardiography equipment and advanced imaging for cardiac assessments.
• Review patient history and verify orders to ensure appropriate examinations.
• Educate patients about echocardiography procedures and address questions from patients or families.
• Identify and document imaging artifacts to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Adapt to fast-paced settings while maintaining professionalism.
• Follow supervisor directions and facility policies.
• Perform other duties within the scope of Cardiac Sonographer practice.
