Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Perfusionist in Sioux Falls, SD for a 13-week assignment. The role requires a valid perfusion certificate, BLS, and a minimum of two years of cardiovascular perfusion experience. You will operate ECMO and heart-lung machines and support cardiac surgeries.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent perfusion experience.
• Active Perfusion Certificate required.
• Active BLS certification (AHA).
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform extracorporeal circulation using heart-lung machines during cardiac surgeries.
• Operate heart-lung machines and related perfusion equipment.
• Monitor, calibrate and maintain perfusion devices per standards.
• Manage labs and fluids, blood and electrolyte therapy as needed.
• Document procedures clearly and communicate with the care team.
• Assist with setup, priming, initiation, and troubleshooting of ECMO outside the OR.
