Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Carmel, Indiana. You will work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab and IR suite, performing complex IR and cardiac procedures on 4x10 hour day shifts with call requirements.

Required ARRT certification, ACLS/BLS, and relevant travel experience. Expect 40 hours/week with equipment including Siemens/Philips C-arms, Acist injector, and advanced imaging tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience required, though 18 months is typically preferred
• ARRT(R) certification and BLS/ACLS required
• Travel experience required
• Conscious sedation and circulating skills required
• Proficient in cardiac procedures including LHC, RHC, pacemaker/defibrillator insertion, STEMI response
• Experience with IR procedures including venous access, drain placement, GI tube insertion, and related interventions (GI/postpartum bleed management)

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab and IR suite
• 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) with 2 days of call per week and every 3rd weekend
• Operate with equipment including C-arms, injectors and angiography systems
• Provide 100% floating to other hospital areas or nearby affiliates as needed
• Assist with PCI, PTCA, rotablator atherectomy, and IABP procedures
