Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech with Cardiac/Vascular specialization for a 13-week travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. Start date 2026-10-12. Weekly pay ranges from $2,252 to $2,402 with guaranteed 40 hours.

Requires RDCS/RCS/CCI credentials and BLS; travel eligibility is mandatory. Responsibilities include performing transthoracic echocardiography, managing images and preliminary findings, and adhering to safety protocols in a hospital-based imaging setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional Cardiac/Vascular ultrasound experience.
• RDCS/RCS/CCI/ACS or equivalent credential required; RVT credential considered appropriate vascular credential.
• BLS certification required by AHA.
• Travel assignment; no local candidates within 50 miles will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive echocardiography studies for cardiac and vascular indications.
• Acquire high-quality 2D, Doppler, and advanced echocardiography data when qualified.
• Position patients and explain procedures; ensure comfort and safety.
• Document study results and communicate findings to supervising cardiologist/radiologist.
• Maintain equipment calibration and follow safety standards including AHA BLS guidelines.
• Support holiday coverage and schedule variations as assigned.
