Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Winston-Salem, NC. You will perform comprehensive echocardiography studies in a busy academic cardiology lab, handling 2D, Doppler, color flow and 3D imaging with EPIC documentation.

Requirements include RDCS/ARDMS or RCS/ACS certification and a minimum of two years’ echo experience; BLS may be required. The role features evenings and a 40-hour week in a Level 1 trauma academic setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Echo Tech experience.
• RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS or ACS certification required.
• Proficient in 2D, Doppler, color flow and 3D imaging.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D and Doppler echocardiography studies.
• Assist in stress echo and transesophageal echo as needed.
• Operate GE and Philips equipment and document in EPIC.
• Maintain patient safety and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with cardiology team in a fast-paced unit.
