Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echo Tech in Smithfield, NC. The role focuses on echocardiographic imaging, patient preparation, and collaboration with physicians to ensure accurate studies during a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week.

The candidate should have 1 year of experience, BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification, and state licensing as required. The position offers travel benefits and a tax-free stipend—details subject to confirmation.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on echocardiography experience and ability to acquire quality cardiac images.
• Proficient in Doppler and color Doppler imaging.
• Able to prepare patients for echocardiograms and coordinate with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Demonstrate competence in echocardiographic studies.
• Perform quality Doppler and color Doppler exams.
• Acquire Stress Echo and Dobutamine images per standards.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms as required.
• Report findings to reading physician for interpretation.
• Maintain patient records and equipment.
