Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Omaha, NE. You will perform echocardiography, contribute to accurate diagnoses, and enjoy competitive weekly pay with comprehensive benefits.

Requires an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, 1 year of Echo CV tech experience, and current BLS. Nebraska licensure and preferred ARDMS/CCI credentials are recommended.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• One year of recent experience as an Echo Cardiovascular Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in cardiac echocardiography, including Doppler and 3-D imaging techniques.
• Operate echocardiography equipment and apply advanced imaging techniques for cardiac assessments.
• Review patient history and verify orders to ensure appropriate examinations.
• Educate patients about the echocardiography process and address questions.
• Identify and document imaging artifacts to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Adapt to fast-paced settings while remaining professional.
• Follow supervisor directions and facility policies.
• Perform other duties within the scope of Cardiac Sonographer practice.
