Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Echo) for a 13-week assignment in Idaho Falls, ID. The Cardiac Sonographer will perform echocardiography to assess cardiac structure and function, working independently in diverse clinical settings with a focus on patient safety and accurate imaging.

The role requires specialized imaging expertise, collaboration with physicians, and commitment to quality, with a supportive clinical team and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• One year of recent Echo Cardiovascular Technologist experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid ultrasound license per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac echocardiography including Doppler and 3-D imaging.
• Operate echocardiography equipment and advanced imaging techniques.
• Review patient history and verify orders.
• Educate patients about echocardiography procedures.
• Identify and document imaging artifacts to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Maintain accurate patient records per policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
• Follow infection control protocols.
• Work efficiently in fast-paced environments.
• Adhere to facility policies and perform duties within scope.
