Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Rockford, IL. The role focuses on assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases in Cath/EP Lab settings.

The candidate should have CCI or AART certification, ACLS/PALS as per contract, and at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• CCI or AART certification/registration required
• State licensure may be required per state/contract
• At least 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab preferred
• ACLS/PALS per contract requirements
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath/EP Lab.
• Specializes in care of patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, EP devices and ablations.
• Provides scrub assistance to cardiologists in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures.
