Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assists in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains high level of patient care by communicating with patients, families, and physicians.
• Works under supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assists during procedures by operating ancillary equipment and handling catheters, wires, and medications as ordered.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintains a safe, patient-focused environment and supports patient safety initiatives.
• Prepares and updates patient records accurately and legibly.
