The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL Technologist) position is located in the cardiovascular department of the healthcare provider. This 13-week contract role involves supporting the cardiac catheterization lab in performing invasive cardiovascular procedures. The technologist will assist in cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, peripheral procedures, and device implants within a busy unit.
Location: Cardiac catheterization lab with 8 beds, staffed by 10 team members, including registered nurses and cardiovascular technicians.
Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Certified Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), valid credentials for working as a Cath Lab Technologist, and minimum 0 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac catheterizations, PCI, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, and familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
Additional Information: Candidates must have ACLS and BLS certifications; candidates with additional skills will be considered first. The unit values team players and those comfortable working with new technology and equipment. Dress code includes specified scrub color; professionalism and adherence to unit policies are expected.
